Road trip

I'm thinking of going over to the south of France next spring/summer for a long weekend in the 'Special'.
Anyone fancy coming along? I'm still at the planning stage so no further details yet.
Cheers
Jon

I might be interested, but the South of France and back in a weekend - even a long one - would be a lot of driving, presumably mainly on motorways...

Did it last year and prob doing it again in Sept next year.
Realistically, you can't do it comfortably in a weekend though. It took us 15 hours to get from St Tropez to Calais - that was taking it very easy though. Doesn't leave much time to see the sights.
If you make it a 4 day do, you'll enjoy it much more.

Probably go from Thursday to Tuesday. Take the minor roads down to Cannes and spend a few days bombing around the Cote d'Azur!
