Performance car day at Castle Combe
Is anyone planning to go?
Its taking place on the 21st April. £33 for the entry fee and a 15min alloted track time.
Still not sure if its worth going or not. Did anyone go last year.

It is a good day out but you need to be aware that the standard of driving can be variable. They have clamped down a lot but you just need to be aware
of some idiot coming down the side of you just as you are going to turn on the apex line. Noise is a big issue, if it doesn't make the grade it
doesn't run and will be pulled of if it then fails on drive by usually induction roar.
Having said that it is a fantastic fast track with good viewing areas and facilities.

I know that Castle Combe are strict on noise. It may be an issue as at SVA I only just crept in and that was with 3 stainless scouring pads down the
exhaust and only just over 6000 rpm
Castle Combe will test at 9000 rpm and the limit is only 100Db.
It may require another scouring pad
