Castle Combe track day. Places available.
The Porsche 928 owners club have booked Castle Combe circuit for the day on the 7th Sept. Due to a few people pulling out they have a few places left.
The cost will be £125 for the day.
Having been with them before they are a friendly bunch of blokes.
The noise limit is 100db static test at 3/4 max revs.
If you are interested let me know and I can forward your details on sooner rather than later.

Are you sure that the 100db applies to BECs. As strange as it sounds, when I visited with two mates recently they were tested at 105db. Car engines
were however tested at 100db. I guess it's because the pitch of the noise makes a difference?

Yep definitely 100db. I was there last month and managed 102 but they still let me out and monitored me on the track. An R1 caterham that was there
only managed 104.5 and they wouldnt let him out.

Hi they where verry strict on noise tests durring the 750mc race day earlier in the year.
Didnt impress me much when they where tacking readings at the side of a building with the noise reverberating strait back at the meter.

They tested me just outside the scroutineering building with my exhaust pointing straight inside which doesnt help. However they seemed happy to let
me out even though I was slightly over

Still no takers!!!
If you are interested please let me know as soon as possible as the spaces are going quickly. It is not very often that you get the chance to do a
track day at Castle Combe for that price.
