Donnington photos
Having spent well over a year working on my car I figured it was about time I went and looked at some real kit cars....so went to Donny...
booked in advance and paid for both days...Was dissapointingly small, but none the less, it was nice to be able to wonder around slowly taking
everything in and talking to people...
On Sunday when we got bored we managed to blag our way into the classic car event for free
Anyway, here are my highlights of the weekend:

whilst i'm sure the modern bugatti is wonderful i much MUCH prefer the 'old' cars. Something about them is far more interesting and
attractive to me. Perhaps its because some of the passion that went into making them has made a mark that the modern computers can't
replicate.
(or it could be the fact the lines aren't destroyed by aerodynamic aids)

blood, sweat and tears
MikeR, I think that you're right on all counts - a lot of blood, sweat and tears went into the racing cars of the sixties and seventies which
were designed with passion. Where carbon Fibre is nice, so is rivetted hand formed ali!
Nice artsy foty's by the way!! - good depth of field exercise on the rocker gear!!

Regards
Steve
