I have been trying to go to Newlands for months now, but everytime I have either been working (shifts) or the weather has been bad!
This time I have a better excuse
I won two tickets to the British F1 GP, so me and my son will be there instead, or stuck in the traffic at the very least!

...so, John, we're not going with the third Sunday change then?

I would be up for it but we've got peeps coming for lunch this Sunday and I suspect I'll be roped in to helping prepare .

I think the 3rd Sunday is now fixed.

The 1st is just John's 'extra' grease fix!
Come on, he's not going to be able to keep his blood pressure up that high without it, is he!!!

I'll try to be there... depends if memory lets me down again!

Cheers,
James

Newlands corner

Newlands corner map link

Drove road at the top of the hill

Usually from 09.30hrs till midday or longer if we can find more rubbish to talk about.

James/simon, the 3rd sunday in July will be the Uxbridge auto show so a majority of us will be there.

The thing is, the third Sunday is 20th July which is the same date as the Uxbridge show, so what happens now?

Sorry to curse your meeting today gents but making my first appearance, hope I can get to a few more and the weather is better nex time. At least it gave me the chance to stretch the cars legs a bit and escape the speed humps of my local area.( Forest Hill, South East London ).
