South Brum 2008

The South Brum meetings are still going strong so we're going to continue into 2008.

There's 7 of us who regularly attend and between us we've got 5 finished cars. I also email a further 18 people who are in various stages of building/driving their cars.

If you search for postings by me in the 'Clubs & Events' section you'll find we get out & about in the Summer (if the weathers kind) and we always meet at least once a month. Usually on the first Monday.

See here, and here, and here, and here for examples of what we get upto at our meetings.

In the Winter we have a pint and chat about what we've been doing and how our cars are going. In the Summer we go out for a drive (around 60 miles or so) and normally stop off for a drink somewhere picturesque. There are pictures of some of these events in my picture archive area.

If you fancy joining us our first meeting of 2008 is;

Monday 7th January at the usual time of 19:30 to 20:00 or 7.30 to 8pm.

We'll meet here;

The Peacock,
Icknield St,
Kings Norton,
Birmingham,
B38 0EH

Tel; 01564 823232

As usual there's a map HERE

Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year to all you Locosters; where ever you be

Who is this super hero? Sarge? ...No.
Rosemary, the telephone operator? ...No.
Penry, the mild-mannered janitor? ...Could be!
