took the g/f to stoneleigh, first show she'd ever been too. Will be up cheshire way this weekend (She's meeting the parents!). Although i
suspect two shows in two weekends may be a bit much - but she almost had to suffer two football matches. Now lets just hope Wigan give Man U a good
game and i'll be happy!

Shame 'cos it was a nice little show. I went last year and really enjoyed it. Completely different from Stoneleigh; Very much a "village
fete" feel to it. I don't think I'd have made it there though as my SVA is on Monday.
Funnily enough, a couple of weeks ago I was talking to one of the stall holder that does it . He'd not heard from the organisers so thought it
wasn't on; now they're blaming the cancellation on lack of interest from exibitors!

My understanding is that the Rochdale owners club were not going to organise the show this year and whoever took it over cocked it all up.Probably
good to have a weekend break, will now go to the Loton Park Hillclimb next weekend.

Yeah, thats what i heard.
- Shame, beucase i was going to go with the cannock westy lads. hehe.
They where saying that basicaly the new organisers wanted it to be the new stoneleigh, with a load of manufactors stands, which from what i know about
the show, was never going to happen.
Diffrent shows are good, with the narrowboat we go to the IWA nationals, which are big stoneleigh-type affared. Thousands of pounds jobbies Feilds of
new narrowbaots on show, the works.
- But then you also get branstone (next weeknd) shackerstone (5th sept) which smaller more feistvaly/fatey type things.
- Just 40/50 interesting/historic boats, few stationary engines, ice cream van, gongozelers and there boats, what sort of thing. All you really need
is the people and a beer tent!
