CHOLMONDELEY PAGEANT OF POWER BACK FOR THE SUMMER
Lord Cholmondeley has announced that the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power will be held on 18th & 19th July this year. It will be the second time the
event is staged at the magnificent Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire and it will keep to the formula that proved so popular with the crowds last year.
Already, many iconic racing cars, bikes, powerboats and helicopters have been booked to roar around the Parkland this July.
This year, Bugatti is the chosen theme, owing to the historic connections with the marque and the Cholmondeley family. The Fifth Marquess and
Marchioness were friends with Ettore Bugatti between the wars and shared a love of horses as well - the familiar Bugatti radiator is a horseshoe after
all.
Founder sponsors, Bentley Motors will have an enlarged display area for their historic and modern cars, including their 2003 Le Mans winning Speed 8,
which Derek Bell will pilot around the new Cholmondeley circuit.
