Just back........

From Newark, a few cars to look at, weather almost dry but chiily wind, may take a ride over tomorrow if its a tad warmer.

Not overly impressed by the show to be honest so if your posting in the "not going to Newark thread" your not missing to much aside from the drive there and back which can be fun.

Not going this year, but if (and when) i was planning to it was as much for the camping as anything else.
- Enjoyed the shows a lot before i bought, and will carry on going on and off to a less extent, but im not sure theres need to go to all the shows every year for the reasons above.

I got there then had work on the phone, so turned around and spent the day sorting out the mess the offshore support team had made!

Saw your car there Jon. As per my post, not a massively great show. Perhaps that's why it's being sold as a "Kit Car Festival" now?

Its a great show if you are camping, bar and entertainment in the evening.

Much smaller than stoneleigh though and you can walk around quickly in about an hour.

We went today and will be going back tomorrow. Weather stayed dry but very cold.

The shows not that great in terms of the manufacturers present but despite the weather there were still lots of interesting cars to look at (see pic if it appears, if not I'll slap it in my gallery) . I had a burning smell half way home ...left front brake was cooking itself , it soon started pulling hard to the left , only to pull sharp right when I touched the brakes , the car has always pulled to the right under brakes so now I'll be forced to sort it out .
Nice ride home on a breakdown wagon courtesy of the nice people at Equity Red Star who had no hesitation in sending a truck out despite the fact that Flux never sent them my details ....me thinks they may be getting a phone call on Monday!!!

Nice picture. Saw that outside and couldn't help hanging around it. Pity there weren't more Ultima's too.
