F1 in London TONIGHT!

Anyone going fancy meeting up or are those people going just doing their own thing?

what a waste of time, stood for 4 hours under the blazing sun, surounded by barging russians to catch a glimse of a few cars go by,they were limited to 35 mph by ken and his morons,we were told to move as we were in a dangerous position and they were going to move the barriers, one bloke told them where to go and we stayed put,the words brewery and p***up come to mind.

The glimpses I saw on tv looked pretty cool. nigel mansell doing donuts in an f1 car..

there was some mumbling by the reporter saying that they were limited to 30 or 40 but that some of the drivers were definitely going faster..

watse of time here to. Thought I'd walk from the office (near Euston) as the tubes would be busy. Got to oxford circus, couldn't get within 50m of anything. had trouble getting out, ended up jumping the barriers and walking up oxford street dodging buses. Complete nightmare, ended up walking back to waterloo, completely hot, knackered and an hour later home from work for nothing.

It might have been better if it weren't for all the bustling tourists and fookin foreigners.

COULDN'T ORGANISE A PISSUP IN A BREWERY is exactly the phrase i would use john.

F1 Circus

Publicity stunt ,for another crap street race, how come they want giant run off's and chicane's every where but dont mind driving next to armco on street circuits i.e Monaco (waste of space circuit!!)

The GP should be at Brands, most intesresting/challenging circuit in the country.

You could only admire the drivers when you saw them entering the braking area for Paddock Bend at 198mph in the 80's

By the way I'm an F1 fan , but for flock's sake!!!......................

Much as I was pissed off with the foreign idiots it was the two morons that had pushchairs with them in the crowd that took the brunt of my anger. Couldn't resist telling them what they were.... Must remember to take a milk crate next time (to stand on, and as a shield!)

I went, early, waited for a couple of hours but got a front row stand was next to Mr Coultard, when he lit up the rears on his observation lap. I liked it all, sorry, yeah was too long to wait and was badly organised, but havn't seen an F1 car 6 foot away with its rears lit up before, and the 'safety car took a bit of beating as well The cars did 'speed' along regents street, but not as fast as the 'medic' car that followed them back each time, he was starting to slide it sideways a bit going through the chicane mid way down Regents st by the end of the evening

Went down there and thought we would go to the pub for a few hours instead of waiting around with nothing to do. When we went and joined the masses we even had to wait 1 1/2 hours then. Couldnt really see the first couple of cars but some people started leaving so we got very near the front. Was good to see brundle giving it some. I think they were limited to 75, i think thats what Jim Rosenthal said anyway as he asked De Matta would he reach it up regents street. De Matta said 1st was gear for 100 so yeah! I was round the corner so couldnt see the donuts, but could hear them!
Ive heard they want to do it again next year too. Maybe have it somewhere where you can fit more people in as the streets are pretty narrow. My mate has a brilliant photo of a bloke who was trying to climb up the wall, it got so packed that he couldnt turn back round as he had his arms stretched out, so he had to stay there for about 45 mins while the cars went passed pacing the wall!
