July Yorks Meet.
It's that time again.
The Yorkshire Locost Car club meet takes place this Wednesday from 7.30 pm.
It's worth coming just to see what car Chris Mason is building next.
His dad's the Sultan of Brunei you know?
Anyway, all welcome at the Angel, Ackworth, 500 yards towards Wakefield from the roundabout at the junction of the A628 and the A638.
It's not fancy dress, although some people seem to think it is, judging by what they wear.
Youth of today, tsk......

Is there usually much of a turn out for these meetings.
If SWMBO is back from work in time, I might come out for a drive. Unless it rains!!

Think the record stands at 25 cars?
Something like that but i'd say there's always atleast 10 cars and many others in their tin-tops.

I'll be there - but very late this time (nothing new there then). In Surrey at the Top Gear studio for filming all day

Anybody fancy meeting up at Total fuel station just off Jct 1 of the M18 for a nice leisurely drive upto Ackworth?

Will save up so i can afford another run over in the future.

Would love to.
A) But a long overdue visit to the outlaws is in order I need the brownie points with SWMBO ( at least i can get to the pup tomorow with the father in
law).
B) Solihulls finest still aint quite singing right - close but need a RR tune up.
I am sure I will be down again soon as the blast back on the quiet roads was excelent fun.
Will get there a little earlier next time.
