Stoneleigh
Just been thinking about Stoneleigh this year and reckon it would be a nice idea to have something a bit more organized for one or both days such as a
BBQ at lunchtime.
There were loads of cars there last year and it would have been good to maybe have a beer and a bit of food together and a chat.
I have made alot of good friends on here and it is always really good to put names to faces so this would be a great opportunity for this.
We (paula and I) would be more than happy to sort a BBQ and some drink and then maybe people could chip in on the day to cover the cost, also we could
setup some gazeebos for sunrain cover.
What do others reckon?
Rich.
P.S. In case anyone is worried we will still cook a big fry-up for breakie both mornings!!

I'm hoping that we are talking about LocostBuilders here as opposed to any particular flavour?...
Different manufacturers / BECs and CECs / lolololocosts and 'I'll-never-ever-tell-the-missus-the'costs all mixed in together in one
glorious example of the brotherhood of (oily)man?...
I feel some friendly competition brewing

Probably be on the MK parking\camping bit but last year it was next to locost anyway and everyone would be welcome MK, MNR, Locost, MAC1, whatever,
if you want to park your car somewhere else then that's up to you but as far as food\drink\etc goes everyone would be welcome.
Rich.

I'm hoping to get the Furore up to Stoneleigh this year, sounds like an excellent idea!
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator
headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names
furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours.

Sounds good to me! A proper social event?
I often wonder why the organisers of the shows put the different owners clubs all over the place. Why not put all the Locost / MK / MAC1 / MNR /
Tiger etc all together?!

I'll second the comment on the fact that Paula's and Rich's catering is first class
Does that mean I won't need to bring the tin BBQ? Ah brekky the highlight of my Stoneleigh experience. As with Jasper, just tell me what you
would like me to bring along.
ATB Dan. I best get this megajolt sorted before then.!!!
The less I worked, the more i liked it.

The Bar B idea by Rich is a great one it will be a great bit of fun.

The Locost car Club will be there, next door to the MK lads.
We're having the marquee again and a barbeque too.
Which I'll schedule for a different time so that there's not too much smoke!
(And I'll be able to crash the MK one too)
cheers

Good idea chris! I was thinking maybe sat lunchtimefor ours?
Definitely not thinking only MK, makes no difference to me whatever the car!
I will get in touch with Ash, maybe we could see if the organisers would give us a bigger area as position was great but could have done with a bit
more space although I seem to remember there were hardly any cars in the one next door so maybe we can overlap a bit!
Hmmmmmm....I can smell the sausages now! yummy!!!
For the record it will have to be lunchtime as I will be in the bar with Jasper in the evening!!
Rich.
