Great video, teeside is a nice little track for sevens. I gather it has been resurfaced looking at the video? What speed did you get to on the straight?

It is a good circuit. Plenty of tight twisty bits, a nice straight and long right hander. Its not long but good fun.

It has had some resurfacing done as well so is getting improved all of the time. The Marshalls are great. Keep a close eye on what is happening but very sensible.

Also one of the cheapest tracks around so a win win on all counts.

Great video

Another thing to go on my shopping list, video camera.

Just found firefox doing the ATC-2000 helmet cams for £99.95. Any one tried one?

F*CKING HELL! Just spent ages getting one of those imported from USA for a friend for his birthday - cheapest in the UK at the time was about 150 quid, managed to get it for about 120 including taxes.

It's an okay camera - bigger and heavier than "proper" bullet cameras so harder to keep steady eg on helmet when skiing, but not such an issue if well mounted to a car.

Decent frame rate (if you get a GOOD fast SD card). The main issue is they have a CMOS sensor not a CCD sensor, so it's basically a portable webcam.

If you just want a bit of a momento of your laps and to show them off to your mates on youtube etc it's fine, but if you want to edit it together with normal camcorder footage or view on bigger screen then you're better off with a PAL bullet camera with CCD.

Its a live axled Westy, 2lt Pinto, 140bhp, Quaiffe atb diff, on ex F Renault slicks. Not a particularly high spec, but loads of fun.. Oh, and Wilwood powerlite stoppers!

Yes some folks describe a Pinto as a monster,...of the prehistoric type!
