ROFLMAO
I just missed those tyres, I was very lucky! Pebble under the accelerator your honour... wouldn't let me slow down
Rear tyres have taken a right hammering... cracking track and a cracking day out. That track is perfect for BEC's....

Congrats. Nice presentation.
Excuse my dumbness but is the Teeside track Langbaurgh karting??
Just wondering if they are one and the same as I remember doing a 6hr moped endurance race there a long long time ago when it was brand new...

Not too sure about the name but it is a karting track, apparently the longest one in the UK. Location is East of Middlesbrough (2miles?) just off the
A66.

Stupid track day videos. Now I want to go. Teeside autodrome looks like a great venue bit its a bit far from the midlands. All we have is the
stupid 98dB donnington and the £1,000,000,000 a day Silverstone.

why not trailer it up the day before, leave it secure in a local members drive and kip in a hotel? Would save the early morning. I think if i was
better organised i could set off as late as 7am from leeds.

Yep, Teesside Autodrome used to known as Langbaugh when it was council owned and was the scene of the old 'Moped Mayhem' races.
In the early 90's they used to use it for all kinds of motorbike racing, until some old dear complained about the noise and they had to restrict
usage to karting only. Bear in mind that there is an ICI site about half a mile away, and it's not like the racing happened every weekend! It
was really annoying as we used to be able to hire the track to £10 per person for an afternoon to ahem, 'set up' our race bikes....
Anyway, the council offered to rehome the old dear to a nicer area but she was having none of it, even though the area then was notoriously dodgy!
Luckily for us she apparently died a few years ago, which is when the circuit was sold to the current owners!
Also, can you believe that just after the bike racing ban was brought in, Tom Wheatcroft (the owner of Donington) put in a multi-million pound offer
for the circuit so that he could rebuild it to grand-prix standard, with a hotel and hospitality suites etc.!?! Stupidly, the council knocked it
back.....
Spin 'er off Well...

Did I???
<note to self> - Check footwells for 8mm sized pebbles and stones to interfere with accelerator peddle return. It's not good trying to
brake and accelerate at the same time.... the accelerator wins!!!
