Identifying us at stoneleigh?

As quoted by NED...
quote:

...And if you like make your own name tag to ease identification of forum members

What a good idea, maybe not a name tag but how about lcb members wearing somthing to identify ourselves such as a pin badge your shirt or somthing?

I think it would be a great idea to easily identify other forum members.
Or am I just being Geeky?

What do we think?

john.

After speaking to Ned I am going to bring some sticky address labels and a couple of marker pens and put them on the BBQ table so when you get your food you can grab a badge and ut your name on it if you want.

Rich.

I was just thinking of something subtle so as we're not looking too geeky to the outsiders. Just forum users that can identify ourselves?

Surely not the same ones as last year Graeme?

I think a subtle name badge would be a good idea. It is a great icebreaker.

I saw someone at Detling with a scrolling led badge saying something like 'my name is Fred' or something........ now THAT is geeky

Cheers,
Raz

Whilst not a member of the club, I'll wander over for a bit on Monday. I'll be the tall blonde guy, quite possibly with half a dozen mates and swmbo in tow. Probably wearing sandles, cut off combat trousers/shorts and a big wooly fleece of some sort. Or my pink and black rugby jumper.
Oh, if it's not raining I might even have a floopy beer related top hat on too!

I'm fairly easy to spot - black jeans, band t-shirt (i'll make it easy and say it will be a BLS t-shirt) and long black/purple hair. Will be there with the gf hopefully. Will be at the mk bbq at lunchtime

Feel free to say 'ello if you see me wandering about

Me... I'l have a Luego Owners Club Shirt, or my Blue Locost shirt.

Cant miss me.. Fat bearded GIT!.

At the Land Rover Show, all us lads off the Foum, wore a CD Rom as a necklace, or tucked in the hatband.

I got asked by loads of people and traders what it was for as we were getting noticed. Geeky... maybee, but it worked very very well, cos no one else was doing it.

Do we need to know the Secret Locost handshake to confirm our identities

cheesey steve! v. cheesey

im going sunday, being a DAX Rush owner i will probably be looking at the DAX's but if i remember rightly the DAX cars were opposite the ambush of MK owners last year. (thats right boys, we'll drewl at your grills and you can drewl at our wheel arches).

i will be around to say hello to you all, but unfortunately i will be in tin top as my DAX is not yet on the road (but im very nearly there!)

i've been off the forum for a few days, whats this about a big BBQ? is everyone invited?

kind regards Alex
