My trip to stoneleigh.

As you can expect, there were loads of lotus 7 look-a-likes; I parked in the Formula 27 owners compound.

Left most is a wide bodied with rover v8; orange is BEC, a pintosaurus, mine with xflow and rightmost was the all singing
and dancing duratec up for sale for £ 14 k.

Other stuff that caught my eye was a kawcker engined mini

Ultima for sale, in region of £ 40 K

Spent far too much time amongst the stalls but purchased very little. Didn’t see
Burton power or Rally Design or walled would have been much emptier.

I managed to miss one of the main halls but the one I did find, some piccies.

Here is a jet powered 7 on Dax stand.

Loads of Cobra replicas but the only car that took my fancy was the Gardner Douglas Lola; a quick look
on the website is showing starting package at £ 20 K so have started saving. Look at those trumpets!!

One for the Lancia Stratos fans

Dunno what this was, but is nice.

Some 50s (?) ferrari replicas, or are they alfas?

Some 30s bentley type monstrosity. Look at the manifold of the one in the middle.

Keith's new TVR.

And of course, if you go hungry, you could always have a donut or two. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v383/02GF74/?action=view&current=MOV02915.flv

Nice pics.

The orange one that you dont know what it is, is a Phantom Vortex. V6 duratec powered normal. Nice GT type car.

ok, mr knowitall trainspotter, what is the green one? they look to be built on old chassis of the same era as the ar they are replicating; I am asuming they are meant to be Bentlleys.

Not a flippin' clue Only reason I know about the Vortex is that my mate was considering buying one.
