Reformatted Anglesey Video
This now available on our website as a Flash Video... for ones who don't like unneccesssary plugins/players.
Apparently 87% (who expressed a preference and use the internet) of the world have flash player installed...

Brilliant video!
However the music of the exhaust was totally spoiled by someone over-dubbing the sound track with absolute sh1te!
IMHO of course.

Why try to hide it with music when you can actually see it. Knob

Can't speak for the other two but the only mid corner lift off to my knowlege, was when I spun out trying to keep up with Chris Mason in his
single seater (futile I know). I applied power coming out of the corner way too early and as a result I had to lift off, hence the spin. Simple driver
error but you live and learn and have fun in the process.
It's all too easy to criticise and I look forward to viewing some track footage of yours one day.

Sorry!
Didn't mean to light the blue paper.
Just wanted to hear the engine, like most petrol heads.

The car I think you're talking about Calvin is an XTR2... lots of the people on the track had no freekin idea how to drive. Consequently you
spent most of your time watching behind you (on the corners) rather than ahead, which wrecked the day IMO.
There were FAR too many people on track on the day - this lead to too many breakdowns (Red Flags) to recover the stranded vehicles.
That slight lift-off mid corner was the deciding factor to throw Phil off the track... I think if he'd have kept the power on the car would have
remained stable and he could have drove through it... still, you live and learn.
I agree about the training though - I've done a bit in my time and it is invaluable. So much so I would stipulate that all trackday drivers
should at least do one tuition day.

The music althoug not to everyones taste - is to mine - and being as I do the video's, it's my choice. On the new Flash video you can turn
it down! Maybe I'll do a version with no music at all but the level of the music is merely sufficient to drowned out the wind noise, nothing
more.

Enjoyed the video myself, i'm going there on 3 rd august so was a nice insight into the G.P. track.
Would you have a link were i could down load it in higher quality so i could increase the screen size a bit, even if it was only a few laps, just so i
could study the track a bit before i go
Thanks in advance
Paul

You can use the Real Media and expand to 200%. The quality is not too bad using ram files.
Alternatively just replace the link
http://hellfire.locostsites.co.uk/video/2007anglesey.ram
with
http://hellfire.locostsites.co.uk/video/2007anglesey.rm
It will download without streaming.
