Classic Le Mans

Which is best - Le Mans or Classic Le Mans?

Both on next year....can't decide which to do, can't do both.

I would go classic as the noise will be far better and the cars are beautiful!

We've been to both the 24 hours and the Classic and they are both fantastic events very well supported by the Brits.

Of the two, if I had to make a choice, I would opt for the Classic partly because of the nostalgia and partly because it is slightly lower key and less manic than the 24 hours.

Even though tickets are not yet available, accommodation is getting booked and we had some difficulty in finding a b & b. In the end, we struck lucky and managed to find one actually in Arnage which is not only close to the circuit but filled with pavement cafes and, during the event, a constant parade of classic cars passes through, mostly British.

Having done both...quite a few times.....from the pit garages/paddock side.... (customers cars ).........

I would say Classic Le Mans every time
Having stayed at various hotels/B&B's around the town of Le Mans, I have to agree, Arnage is THE place to stay..... if you can...

Done both and would choose Classic Le Mans as well, the cars are as scary but a lot more iconic

Anyone got any dates for the classic event?

If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation

Looks like the classic then....was leaning that way to be honest. Hope the weather is good...

Wondering if the run down from the port is as good as 'normal le mans'....
