WLM Xmas Bash Part 3

Ok it seems Londinion [London to give it it's modern name ] is the favorite place for the WLM Xmas bash but we need to pick a date.

Do we want a Friday or Saturday evening? Proposed dates are:

Fri 23rd Nov [ i can't make that eve]
Sat 24th Nov
Fri 30th Nov [ i can't make that eve either]
Sat 1st Dec
Fri 7th Dec
Sat 8th Dec
Fri 14th Dec
Sat 15th Dec
Fri 21st Dec [Restaurants prob busy]
Sat 22nd Dec [Restaurant prob busy]

Early Dec on a Saturday would do it for me.

IMHO, London is one of the best cities in the world. Depends on where you live of course, and what you want out of life. London always has things going on, interesting things, unlike the sticks where I originally come from. Just my opinion of course

I can't be bothered to trek into london, I can get a chinese locally if I want one. I think there might be a fracture 'outer WLM' group having an out of london traditional xmas do!

I'd also expect a lot of places are likely to be busy from the beginning of december, not just the two weeks before xmas!!

Ned.

WLM = west london mafia

I'll be in chinatown leicester square and covent garden on a walkabout with some lads for xmas anyway so i would rather go into the sticks west or south for trad xmas tucker.

Oh yes! well 'ard!

Traditional preferred here too!!!!.....
IMHO you can go out for Chinese and Indian food.....any day/week/month...... if you like that cuisine ..... but you can't go out for Traditional Crimbo fare anytime.....

Have to say I don't really get the Chinese thing either - the only thing going for it is that it's cheap.....

I like that place we went that year when we had a Christmas Dinner in that back room of that restuarant up Dorking Way - oh - I think I organised that one!!

And I can only do Saturday night only.

Mmmmmm me too!

Bestest Crimbo bash to date! ......IMHO

Mind.....do I recall it not being a back room...more like.....shut in the cellar? ....so we could all be as 'loud' as we liked? ....which was ....nice!

Fozzie

Edit to add......It wasn't Dorking, but Reigate...
