‘SPEED ON WHEELS’ Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome, Leicestershire 5th & 6th July 2008
Please find enclosed details of the exciting new event ‘SPEED ON WHEELS’ at Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome in Leicestershire. This action packed two-day
track event sporting many attractions such as: Autosprint courses, karting, a quarter-mile sprint and a chance to be a passenger in the awesome Ariel
Atoms. The location boasts a 4.7-mile track, which on this occasion, will be split in two to benefit all track drivers for the weekend. On one
circuit, manufacturers will be able to give car demonstrations and on the other, keen car enthusiasts will be able to take track sessions, which will
include sessions for both novice and lady drivers. All track activities will run on both the Saturday and the Sunday. The track sessions will run at
half-hour intervals during both days, except when the quarter-mile sprint is taking place. All information, advance track bookings, advance tickets
and camping can be booked on the website www.speedonwheels.com PITSTOP CHALLENGE To add to the weekend’s activities, we will be organising a
wheel-changing competition between the clubs. The fastest club wins! The prize is £100. We have had tremendous interest in this two-day event and
hope that the clubs will get involved with this new and exciting weekend. If you want to participate in the event or in the competition, please return
the booking form so that we are able to allot a stand in the club area. SATURDAY EVENING We have once again teamed up with our sponsor, Complete Kit
Car magazine, and will be inviting club members for a hog roast and some cool music to catch up on the days’ activities. Please do join us at the CKC
