Boat anchors ahoy at 98db static... BECs might as well stay at home. Be interested to hear how rigid they are with the testing. Croft is on my list
but the noise regs on most days seem a bit draconian.

Yes, it's not too friendly for BEC's (One advantage of a good old Anchor!) Bike engined cars do get on, but they need plenty of attention
in the noise prevention department.
TBH, I thought there'd be more uptake, as £139 is a very low price for Croft.. No matter, more room on track for us!

Had a grand day, if not a tad warm! My car went well eventually.... the rear slicks were dead, so replaced them with well worn 888s. The front
slick rear Toyo configuration worked quite well.
A few pica taken by a pal are HERE
Should get some vid up in the next few days.

Here's Pete's latest video effort, he has a wild imagination!
Four Westfields involved, four different engines, 2.0 Duratec (forward facing camera) 2.0 S2000 (piggy in the middle) My 2.1 Pinto up front with the
camera pointing back. Then the Megabusa arrives on the scene..
Team Pugwash's latest movie.

Cracking vid. He's a lazy git though, two whole days I had to wait
That car of yours is looking well sorted this season. I'm a bit worried you're going to drive away from me!

My car is going quite well, but on the day suffered from a lack of rear end grip.
Fastest car out of the bunch was Jeff's Duratec. Although not quite so quick down the straight, his wide rear aches allow for more rubber
on the rears. It was noticable on the long bends, eg up to the chicane. He managed (timed off video) 1-34s, and the best I've found is a couple
of 1-35s
At Anglesey we should have Pete's car, so if we do drive away from you, it'll be with a 220bhp zetec, and not the dreaded "P"
word!

What do you mean IF? I estimate the zetec engined car at over 400bhp/tonne...

....as opposed to the 400tonne/bhp Pinto.
Some cheeky sod posted THIS on the wscc forum. I dont undertand what it's got to do with
Henry Ford's marvellous 2lt SOHC engine!
