Croft video and a few pics..

Well, we always get extreme weather at Croft, you either get frozen, soaked, or burnt to a frazzle!.... Yesterday was a cooker!

My son, Pete, had his zetec powered Westy entered, I had a couple of sessions. The car performed very well throughout the day, it handles really well.
But...... when we came to start it, to drive off the trailer, it's a no go. Probably the starter solenoid.

Pete's latest video creation, (Pete at the wheel too) is HERE

And a few pics;

Apparently it had a dirty journey to the track on an open trailer, I think... Nice to meet team Striker btw.

You won't believe me but it was clean when I set off. My mate knows the shortest / s****iest route into Croft!

Nice pics Andy thanks.

Is that Tim Hubbard's busa you're on about? I wandered over when you were fixing it, but it did sound like a terminal case of deadness when we saw you. Was really surprised when we saw it back on track later on.. Well done with the repairs.

yes it was tim's he's not long had a load off work on it its now a 1400 busa so when he lost all oil presher at 10,000rpm just coming in to the right hander at the end off the back strat we wear all thinking the worst
lady luck was on his side thankfully
still getting oil presher light on under hard braking so think a dry sump kit for xmass may be
