Envelopes fixed?

I believe the red/grey envelope thing should work all through the site now. Anyone confirm?

NOT working for me!

All envelopes coming up as 'unread', in all locations. For interest, I've tried using IE5, Opera 7.1, and Mozilla - same result.

Also, I find the checker-plate background very distracting!

'tis quicker, though.

He already knows this, but mine aren't working either...

To change the colours go into your profile edit page. The dropdown list is in there for colours is in there.

You want LocostBuilders.

Have fun..

I might have known what I was on about, but I'm gonna have to proof read my posts.

No, I get red envelopes all the time - could be something up my end (!) but I must have enough cookie enabling as it remembers me when I come back, ie I come back logged in etc but all red envelopes. Even after 'catching up'.

It's an issue with people who have spaces in their usernames.... I'll look into it at work tomorrow (in my lunch hour of course!).

Vague new envelope problem:

Sometimes the red envelopes in the main list don't correspond to those showing in the topic lists.

You can see a RE (red envelope) in the main list, open the topic, and all the envelopes are grey. The 'latest item' shown on the right of the main page is usually correct so, if I look for that, I can find the new article.

I don't think the main page REs are updating as often as the REs on the topic lists.

rgds,

David

I click quote on David's post and nothing's here.

Just to say it happens the same to me: RED in topis, all GREY in posts.

Guys if you don't 'catch up' before you leave each time you may need to do a refresh (F5 in Internet Explorer) to get the envelopes to update.
