As the title says, i just wondered if anyone knows roughly how heavy a Haynes roadster chassis weighs.

55-65kg depending on wether you make it from 1.6mm or 2mm wall tube and what ever else has been added to it.

Well a locost chassis with a 1.6mm ali floor and all the suspension and brackets etc weighs in at around 90kg

took my mk chassis home on a normal car roof rack and never noticed any effect on the cars performance

I'd be interested to know what all the different chassis weigh; just as a benchmark for the MM Paradigm you see.

Worth a new thread maybe?

Yeah it'd be good for everyone to have a reference thread i think.

My powder coated Mac#1 Worx chassis with all suspension brackets, engine cradle and roll bar weighed in at 70.5kg
