welcome to the forum!

as a good starting point, i'd say get one of the book, either ron champions build a sportscar for £250 book, or chris gibbs book, both give chassis plans, and a whole overview of building a car, although i guess both are kind of dated now in terms of donor cars

Sevenesque is only the chassis itself, it's very much short of brackets, suspension components and all the stuff that makes it a car.

I recommend the Haynes Roadster book, it's still in print so not expensive. A quick glance on Ebay shows several for £11 posted, can't really do better than that.
