Laying out my attempt at the scuttle and bonnet and it looks too high.
I just measured it and as it sits right know I have just under 6
inches from the ground to the lower chassis rails, the chassis is a +2
in height and the scuttle is sitting at a highest point of 31 inches
with only a minor slope on the bonnet to the front.
I was wondering what people have for a measurement of the scuttle
height from the ground and bonnet height from the ground at the front
axle cross section.

There is a thread in "Anything else", headed "how high is your car". Will give you a fair yard stick. Oh! by the way mines, 6" ground clearance, 14" chassis, and 11" scuttle, = 31" total. HTH Ray.

Mine looks massive from inside the car, but the car looks tiny from outside, so I think it's just your perspective (and expectations) that make it look high.
