Rear calliper re-build

Hi there. I am trying to source a rebuild kit for Ford Sierra rear callipers. They are actually the same as those fitted to Granadas too. Reconditioned callipers are £££ so i want to re-build my own. Anyone any ideas?

Many thanks
Tom

Mine cost £152 INCLUDING VAT for all four from a local factors.(exchange)
I`m not sure repair kits are readily available from anywhere but Ford, but looking at the quality of the units I really don`t they are worth messing with, you could do them all and they still leak first time you use them

wow thanks for the fast response guys, some good info there. You are all correct - for that sort of money i wont bother trying to recon anything!

ReMan - any chance you could give me contact details of the place you got all 4 for £152 please

The best price i had previously was £190 + vat + surcharge etc by the way.

Thanks again, but keep the tips coming.
cheers
Tom
