Okay guys, I've been looking for this book for over a year- contacted Chaters and am about 7th or 8th on the list there. So... On to plan B
Does anyone on this forum have a copy they would consider photocopying?
Thanks in advance for your help

A few pages perhaps....anything in particular?
A lot of it is covered (and improved upon) in his later books.

I've got Comp. Car Suspension & Race & Rallye car source book, so the string computer is no stranger....
In a letter from Allan Nov 26 last year he advised that "my book.... was originally conceived as the build manual for these plans. It has a ...
number of photos and other drawings to amplify these and cover various development..." I asked if he was going to try to get the book reprinted
(with the renewed interest in self-built cars, it may sell) or even by self publishing like Burt Levy did with his fictional vintage sportscar racing
tomes.
I guess, without knowing the content of the book, the stuff that is Terrapin specific is where my interest lies.
Allan has sent plans for the original terrapin, and I've requested a set of plans for the Mk V closed wheel version (as I told Allan,, I'm
a lard-a$$ed 'murkin w/ claustrophobia- sitting in a formula ford starts to panick me) that has a wider cockpit.
That said, how about the pages you believe to be the most significant and not repeated in the later works?
I've a copy of the Mini service manual, as most of my experience has been with front engined/rwd cars.
Looks like your making ggod progress on the Meerkat

Interesting- Spelling for your first name is the same as my middle name- and unusual in the area I was raised- West coast of the US, Allan and Allen
are common spellings (and I mis-spelled my middle name all through school- didn't learn of my error until a looked at by Birth certificate
entering college.)
