what spring rate/length
rotax78 - 8/1/07 at 09:06 PM

i'm building an indy with 2005 r1 motor, as above really, what springs do people recommend. I know that everyone likes slightly different settings etc, but i'm after a good starting point. Chris Mason, I saw you at Martins and you gave me a bit of an idea, but to be honest I cant find my piece of paper now so a recap would be cool.
thanks simon

I asked the chap that answered the phone at MK when I enquired about seat prices..
He said 350 fronts and 200 rears for my r1 install.

Hi there

Just got mine, in the end I went for 300 at the front and 200 at the rear, running a ZX9R Engine

Cheers

I think some of the more regular track users have experimented with different spring rates to try and prevent the alleged rear end roll problem. Maybe they will be along soon to say what they have found works best.
