Anglesey is an awesome track for our cars IMO. Top speed means nothing because it'ss very short and twisty, but the mix of bends is superb and the surface i seem to remember is excellent. A few of us made a long weekend of it last summer - driving up from Bristol through Wales was almost as much fun as the trackday and we spent a few nights camping with lots of beer and barbecues to keep things merry!

Thoroughly recommended.

Cheers,
Matt.

Cracking video Ox... brings back memories! Seems like the car is well set up and it toe's the line pretty much without being too snappy. I see you were only maxing out at about 50mph. What differential have you got 8:1 ? 9:1 ? Seriously.... haven't you got that speedo sorted out yet?

Nice video OX! I love Anglesey, been there about 5 times so far - how does it look now they've started the improvements? However it pans out I hope they dont lose School!

Did you get any lap times (not that you're probably allowed to time on the day ) - we were there last year when we were actually allowed to time and I eventually got down to a 49.9 which I was quite chuffed with, only a second shy of Tiff Needell in the Mosler MT900 on 5th Gear's shootout, although he probably had less track time to get down to that!

On Ox's 12th lap I timed it as 54 secs with my watch, as passenger. I wish I timed him at the end of the day now!!!
The sierra he passes at the begining of the vid is mine... hehe, managed 1.05 lap time ..... I need nos!!!!

When I did some recording at Llandow I just did some timing off the video playing it straight off the camera, was accurate within a tenth or so.
Either way its very satisfying blitzing lots of exotica on track in a £7k Locost
