Zetec exhaust manifold
I need an exhaust manifold for the black top zetec in my Tiger Avon and I was wondering which one you recommend?
Cheers

Tigers own downpipes, I was trying to find something different but there’s not really anything that works with the intended exit point. I tried ST
manifolds different manufacturers etc and everything would’ve needed modifying or getting custom made. The tiger ones are made for the the tiger so
have no fitment issues, Laura will always look after you.
There’s pics in my archive of my complete exhaust.
Tiger downpipes £170, 4-1 collector ofline to suit £30, CAT offline £70 and a £40 R1 sikencer. If you can weld you can get a pretty good looking set
up for not a lot of money.

I'll call them on Monday and ask. That is one hell of a discount

I definitely didn’t spend £350 on them.

What about Westfield downpipes, would they fit?

Tiger want £502 for down pipes and four into one. Bit bloody expensive if you ask me. I won't be buying that.

That's a stupid price. I don’t know if the quality has improved but the set I had 10 years ago where not great. Defiantly not £500’s worth.
Edit, does that include a catalytic converter ? I’ve seen some pics of it being built on to the collector .

Theres no cat included. I think I'll go for a westfield set of down pipes and collector. £387. What do you think?

I don’t think they will fit.
Have a look at Gbs.

Yeh, there is a s/h one one eBay. I would have a look around the net to see what else has been fitted.
As tiger is just up the road from me I’ve had a set for a Locost. I will see if I can find some pictures.

I wouldn't buy the GBS manifold if you want a decent manifold.
I wish I'd got pics of mine while it was off, but if you're after a "performance" item then look elsewhere.

I've got a Westfield manifold on my Indy Zetec. Mine is actually a CVH manifold though [4-2-1 rather than 4-1]. It fits perfectly in the Indy,
though I had to modify the bolt holes to make it fit the zetec. Ports are the same though..

i had the GBS GT manifold and there re packable silencer actually quite a good setup quiet at low and cruising revs but then made a nice noise when
the angry pedal pressed a bit more and did actually make a marked difference to the performance which supprised me but now gone and onto a three inch
bore for my turbo

Why do you think the westfield pipes won't fit Warren?
