Hi all
I'm new to the forum but have built a tiger avon and have enjoyed it on the road and track for two years now. It's got a 2.0L zetec engine which i have just spent all winter flowing the head, strenghening the bottom end and fitting piper 285 camshafts etc.
It's just been set up on a rolling road and she certainly goes now.
Next on my list are big brakes on the front and any advice anyone has would be helpfull. At the moment it's got a ford LSD with 4x4 discs and calipers on the rear and cortina calipers with greenstuff pads on the front.
Also does anyone know where i can get extensions for the steering rack so i can extend the front wishbones.
I'll try to get a pic of my toy in the attachment
Thanks Paul

Hello Paul,
Lightning has just done that (fitting wider front 'bones to his Avon).
Have a gander at fairly recent threads on this section to find it. May help with any info you require.

Andy.

BTW Andy just got a boot cover made locally at a boat yard. Made to measure and fitted in a day...£80. I think its quite dapper. Rescued attachment Harrydog 009.jpg

Thanks to you all for the comments.
I like the front end lighting, i like it a lot. Has it improved the turn in or is it not really that noticable?
Have you used the gaz shocks from tiger?
Mind you even if the answer is no to both questions it's got to be worth doing just for the look
Has anyone got any tips why i'm having problems uploading pics, managed to get 2 pics on but no more, then deleted them to try smaller size pics but they still won't load
