iv got a dynojet pc3 on the zx10r and an exhaust with o2 sensor eliminators and wondered if it will cause problems when they do emissions test even with the base map ?
btw it has the standard silencer with cat

The emmision test limits at IVA are stricter than the standards required for a bike. As a result the bike cat is (in most cases) not big enough for the job. You'll need a bigger cat and the PC to adjust the fueling to passable levels.

ps. what are o2 sensor elliminators?

they trick the ecu into thinking it still has lambda censors fitted stopping it from issuing a fault code , the pc3 requires the lambda censors to be removed to fully adjust the map.
it was on the car when we got it along with the exhaust which doesn't have the censor bungs
ha ha just seen what your on about

does anyone know what the emissions need to be so i can get it set on the rollers before it gets tested ?

The emmision limits are the same as any cat fitted car at MOTgoing through a BETS test.

Fast idle test @2500-3000rpm... CO<= 0.3%. HC<=200ppm. Lambda between 0.97-1.03
Idle test... CO<=0.5%

Sorry, didn't know about that engine having Lambda sensors. Might be worth talking to someone who has put one through IVA. Does it run closed loop with the sensors?

iv managed to get a fuel map from bobm that he used when he passed the iva with his zx10r kitcar and its very lean but it worked im gonna get it checked against the levels you said though first just to be sure .
