I've acquired an XR2 gearbox as I need the diff for a Sylva R1ot, but having removed all the bolts, I can't get the two parts more than about an inch or two apart.
It appears to be in gear, does it need to be in neutral to come apart? I'm really just looking for a reason to take an angle grinder to the case .
