I'd got some petrol in a can, my mate Kev came round for a natter and I decided I'd like see if the engine would fire. Plugged the loom in
and earthed the clutch switch, dropped the petrol pipe in the can and churned it over. A quick pull on the choke cable while Kev pressed the button
and after it filled the floats away it went. I'll have to see about an exhaust or some earplugs for the neighbours before I do it again I think
.

Is it the annual migration, flying south for the winter Colin? I'll get the kettle on ready. Can you remember where it is or have you got sat nav
like the pigeons.
not a migration Petesssy...more like being attached to a huge bungee rope....going to London early hours Friday...to head straight back North via MK (and Hopefully Claycross) to be on the 6am ferry to Orkney on Saturday morning...to get absolutely rubbered at my mates 40th birthday Parteeee to then come back home on Monday....it's gonna be like a hugely expensive 400 mile long elastic band thats snapping me from one end of the UK and back again.....yeehaaaaaaaaaaa..... friggin fuel tax.....!!!
It's going to be a long day Friday then. What time are you expecting to be coming back up?
guessing around lunchtime...u2u me your mobile and I'll keep in touch..
sure is going to be a tiring drive..hoping to break it up sensibly though otherwise I'll be sleeping instead of partying..
Sent it Col. See you Friday hopefully. Have a good trip.
