can any of you guys tell me which battery you are using for your blade??

initially I had a big 30A 10kg for the extra power required especially for night driving, then decided to fit lighter 5kg honda 8A unit & found regulater/rectifier struggled to keep up, it blew & the connectors melted. So reverted back again & as a belt & braces exercise to shed heat, fitted rectifier to ally panel with a PC fan. I am not using elec reverse

I find 10ah more than enough including night drives with plenty of illumnation, electric reverse too but with engine running.

I just fitted a non sealed 14ah standard bike battery to my sylva, can be had for about £19. Same as u wanted somthing with more grunt for those wet, dark drives home when the windscreen wipers and lights will be on. Not a blade but zx9r.
