I wrote off a Daytona today, 8 months old, 2100 miles on the clock, 955cc engine, because the frame is slightly damaged, I have to give it a Cat B
total loss, and the insurance company involved allows 6% for a 'B' , so it will be bought by a salvage buyer for £335!
Any one know if it would make a good BEC engine? 146BHP apparently
Ask Mr Triton, I think he stuck one of these in the Challenger !! Stonkin good lump !!

Isn't Mr Triton looking for one of those motors?
If Father Christmas was feeling generous this year i could find use for one
Great motor... sorry about your loss tho...
Slat slime? Diesel? over exhuberence?

No a misunderstanding!

Hi I have one of these in my car
but a RS this means different cams I would be interested in a daytona
I have high hopes for this engine as everybody seems to like them
Good torque and RS power @ 130bhp
the daytona cams mean power @ 150bhp
so I'm looking for some cams if you know of anyone who has a set for sale point them in my direction
Lee
Just how do you become a salvage buyer, I'm dead interested in this engine.
