is it carb'd or injection R1?.

is your fuel fresh, as it does "go off" if left for a while.

probably been said before if all the ingredients are there ,fuel,spark, have you towed it yet sometimes it just wont turn fast enough on the starter to catch

Silly question maybe but you're not using a Fuel Injection fuel pump and not a carbed one are you, if you use a fuel injection fuel pump it will pump far too much pressure.

Can you test the flow rate as stated below, this is for a blade but flow rate should be about the same.

Here’s the test in case you want to try it :-

1. Get a suitable measuring jug, normal small kitchen jug will do.
2. Disconnect the fuel pipe by the carbs (make sure you have some ragkitchen roll under the pipe to catch any fuel that leaks out.
3. Put the end of the fuel pipe into the measuring jug and turn the ignition on so that the fuel pumps for 15 seconds.
4. Turn the ignition off and measure how much fuel was pumped through.
5. The pump needs to pump at least 900cc per minute so in 15 seconds you should have at least 225cc in the measuring jug.

Can you then just confirm how much fuel you get through.

As far as I know it's the carburettor fuel pump but I'll measure the flow rate when I drain off the old fuel.

Just a suggestion, might it be worth keeping this all in one thread so people dont go over the same things again and to make it easier for everyone to follow, this is the third thread on the same problems so makes it hard to follow what you have / havent tried and what your setup is
