R1 Injection - She lives !
jimgiblett - 2/1/06 at 02:11 PM

After what seems like an age (took me longer to do the engine transplant than originally building and SVA the car). I fired up the new motor for the first time today.

I might have a beer or two later

Jim

You mean you put in another bike engine...tsk tsk, silly boy, should have gone for a 998 A series

jimgiblett - 2/1/06 at 04:49 PM

Lots of tidying up to do before I go out in it but not long now.

A series.... Memories of the magic wand 2ft gear stick in my first car (850cc of noise and oil leaks)

It must have been the threat of being plugged into my car that finally scared the ECU into allowing it to fire

Oh shut up Donut, we know how much you like car engines

There should be restrictions for people like you coming into the BEC section and polluting threads with talk of car engines

Excellent news Paul...well done mate.

I'll try and come along to Brands to cheer you along. Very interested to see how well your new mainifold design performs.
