are the wires running from the tach and speedo sensors shielded or can they be cut and extended as i need to extend the wiring that plugs into the clocks from my tl engine

Cut one and find out. You can extend shielded wire if need be, just push the braid back, join and insulate the conductors, overlap the braids and close the joint with adhesive-lined heatshrink (RS Components + others). Job done. HTH

havent looked at the loom closely yet but either way it can be sorted cheers for that

Be careful when chopping/changing TL loom as the fuel injection system does self checks and works on resistance in the circuit (so i have been Informed from a suzook tech), so you may get problems , beware!

i might not need to cut it yet but as thre motor is mid mounted its qiute a way from the motor to the dash
