
OK, i need to know where do all the problems come from when SVA ing your BEC car.
Is it true that the pre'95 rulez for bikez don't exists??
and what does one do when he buys a injection bike without closed loop/or carburator bike after 95...
and build it on his car??
i mean to say i use a injection bike (1998) without the closed loop sytem do i have to fear for SVA emission?? i do use original Silencers..(if the
cat is built in)
is it true that if you could lean the mixture with an kit, it wouldnt be legal because it isn't closed loop??
They don't exist for bikes...but you're building a car....a bike engine in a car is not a bike engine from the SVA man's point of
view....
So the pre/post 95 Cat requirement still exists, I'm afraid...
Actually it doesn't exist as long as you can prove the bike engine is pre July 1995 which can be done by getting confirmation from the
manufacturer.
As long as you prove it is pre 1995 then you WON'T need a cat anything after that then you will.

Im not an SVA emissions expert but as far as I know there's no particular stipulation about it being closed loop, however, if you're using a bike can then even if it does have a cat in it, from other people's experience Id say its unlikely to get the emissions low enough as the bike cats are generally much smaller and more freely flowing than the car ones, and bikes dont need to meet such tight emissions
If you've got an injection bike motor then you will need a car sized cat and a Power Commander to adjust the mixture for the SVA test. You only
need to reach set emmisions limits at the tested rev range to pass. They is no stipulation on how you have to do it.
