Thinking of going for a digidash 1 or 2 for 'me Indy CBR1000. They seem straight forward - anyone know of any probs I might have installing to a BEC? (Didn't build her up - so just checking)

If no probs - before I try a wanted post - Anyone wanna get rid of a dd1 here?

i'm using a digi dash1 in my bec really easy to wire up has been 100% reliable easy to calibrate fo sva etc i would recommend a remote oil line for the sensors to stop vibration damage but thats about it. DD2 is also a real nice bit of kit

CBR1000 F-J uses a mechanical drive speedo so you will have to find another way of measuring speed i.e. magnet pick-up type sensor on wheel or prop. Depending on what clocks are currently fitted, this may already be in place.

Cheers Guys

Might sound daft - But I kinda prefere the style of the DD1, bit more of a console!?!?!

Current speedo is a halfords 16 quid special! (no light, found myself caught out driving @ night down to cornwall last Sept - with a torch wedged down the side of the passenger seat - not ideal!)

Lemans or bust in June in 4x BEC convoy - so wanna get summit sorted!

Have you considered the Veypor VR2? Bargain at less than £250. You'll need additional guages for temp, pressure and anything else you want but it still makes a lot of sense to me!
