Can anyone give me some info on the Stuart Taylor mechanical paddle shift! How much do they cost? What size steering wheel do they fit? What steering wheel bosses fit them? Photos and comments appreciated!

Cheers chaps

Come in 2 sizes - 260 and 300mm I think.

£250.

Will fit any boss as they utilise the standard Sierra column, but you loose all the switches etc.

to dead to dear

buy a paddle if theres any left from richijenkin on this forum then make your own mechanism

take a look in my photo archive to see the bottom mech etc

and the mirror finished top part is a table leg from B&Q with the two rose joints that hold the paddle bolted on

Looks good Chris, love the table leg! Are you using a standard sierra steering column on there? Have you retained the bearing that usually sits in the aluminium locking casting?

yes basically you grind down the column so its smooth and round but all the bearings etc stay there

the table leg thing is more of a clamp /cover to 1 hold the rose joints and 2 cover the not so beatiful column underneath but with that on top looks fantastic

its very simple to do your self

send me your email and Ill send some more pics
