Is there a requirement for fitting fuel line. I know putting one in the tunnel of the MK at "x" amount of centers but this is for the mini
im building.
Thinking of putting it inside of the car along the top of the tunnel, not using copper but the rubber fuel line intead.

Personally I would use braided hose for any reasonable length run rather than plain rubber, especially if its in areas where its liable to get rubbed
or knicked without you noticing. Its not that expensive in the overall scheme of things, Think Automotive do some for under a fiver a metre so maybe
£15 tops, or £30 if you need a return run, and looks good too
I wouldn't really fancy a fuel line inside a car. But same rules apply fixing at X centres I have heard they prefer the rigid plastic type pipe
or properly marked fuel piping it has the conformity markings about every 6 inches or so

It's considered reasonable practice in racing mini's to run a braided fuel line through the car. Just do it in a single run and you'll be fine. Best to place it in the ribs in the floor, and make sure it's well attached.
Yep, loads of race cars have their fuel line inside the car as long as you keep it to a single run so the joints are outside the cockpit area like you say.
It's considered better to accidentally kick it once in a while, rather than rub it off on a kurb/bump. And it gives you a nice shiny bit inside
the car!
Was going to do the fuel line tonight, i have some thick rubber fuel line left over from the Indy build. Will see how it goes. I can always remove it if it's not right. Thanks for the comments guys, let you know how i get on later.
my fuel line cost 90 odd quid for 5 metres. i almost chocked, and he had to stamp on my foot to get the cash out of my hand. bearing in mind the pipe is 25 per metre in demon tweeks, its double braided racing hose, not realyy needed but looks the part.
How come you needed such expensive hose?
