the biting point on my r1 clutch pedal isnt really till the pedal is very far out which takes a while to get used to

if I put a stop just before the biting point will it still go into gear ok

Best way is to depress clutch pedal down to just passed the biting point and see at which point youcan put car into and out of gear without any difficulty you can then put a clutch stop at this point
