
Hi, I'm at the stage where I'm lookng into designing my exhaust system. In my case my engine is transverse (shaft drive Yamaha FJR1300).
I'm undecided about having two seperate 2 - 1 headers, one down each side of the car, ot a 4 - 2- 1 design down the RHS.
Any idea which is better from a performance point of view?

4-2-1 == mid range torque
4 - 1 == peak power (torque)
2 - 1 on each side will def cost bhp.
