Hi guys woundered if you could help me:
I need an accurate'ish temperature of the exhaust gas produced by a bike engine! 600cc if that matters!
A rough estimate will do if you dont know exactly, just need a general idea
Cheers
Colin
Max is around 720 deg c before things start to melt...

720? Melt? ...... hmmmmmmm my 3S-GTE would go all the way to 790^C on stock pistons and a bit of extra boostie
do you mean the header or the silencer?
Depending on uhhh lets say usage of the engine..
ticking over 35 for the silencer and 190degrees neer the head the header..
When you start to add more fuel just multiply...
You realy cant rely on this kind of numbers because there are to many unknowns...
Tks
for example a hot tube isnīt dangerous only thing really really close will be a problem..
