Can you tell me why people fit their bike clocks in the middle of the dash rather than behind the steering wheel? Is it that you just cant see them behind the wheel?

Think the reason was when i built mine mate was that there is not alot of room there to fit the clocks behind the wheel.

no real space for mine behind the wheel, so i have them dangling in the passanger footwell The lightess way i can mount them will be straight to the top of the tunnel, and replace the old dash with a thin sheet of ally.

Yep, I couldn't see mine when I stuck them behind the wheel.....
