just measure them end don´t come back there..

i know there are special car seal rings wich are commonly used by oil plugs..

wurth do they...its copper with something in it..

They woud do that job nicely..

TKs

and for less for that money you could almost buy a set of new plugs

I only used 4. I can't think why you'd need eight.

4 and yes at 4 pound each

How can you possibly need 8?

I got mine from this guy on ebay, I think he does them for most bikes so might be worth an email (£6.90 for 4):

EBAY GASKETS

zxrlocost - 30/5/06 at 08:20 PM

they are £4 each for proper ones

fair enough if you can get some cheaper ones

Gav - 30/5/06 at 08:25 PM

Buy some quick as the price of Copper has gone up three fold in the last year!

It isn't just copper ring either... it is a copper tube and has a heat retardent material in the middle. So making them not so easy to make - but £4 each is a bit much.

copper has gone up over 100% since august 2005...

Incredible

Cancelled my order with the dealer and bought them 'buy it now' off ebay.

Thanks for the comments

not all have heat resistant material in them, mine were just a crushable c shape.
