What is a good quality oil for a blackbird with a blower on.

any fully synthetic superbike oil

Opening a worm full can there...

Its commonly accepted that fully synth oil is not ideal in bikes due to the wet clutch.
Having said that I know many people that use it with no ill effects.
May be a different story in a bec with a blown Bird engine...

Rock Oil Synthesis

There are various options, but make sure it's a bike oil and NOT a car oil. Car oils aren't designed for wet clutches - that's where the problems arise.

Synthetic is the stuff you want - the only problems arise when using it in a brand new motor as it can mess up the running-in process. It's just too slippery!

Its a common misconception to be honest, rather than commonly accepted. Fully synth is absolutely fine for wet clutches as long as it meets the required rating for use with wet clutches (SG rated I think).

Ive used R4 and Redline without issue for 4 years, both are good.

I would agree Chris. As posted above, the problems I've read/heard about are quite possibly due to not using bike specific oil. A detail that would be omitted
Personally I use semi synth in my 'bird and GPZ and fully synth in the 650R (it only takes 1 litre and is changed every 3-400 miles)
